The only thing I really liked about this one was how he was pretty kick ass. Lol is that sad, I read 350 pages and that was all I liked.

I'm glad you liked this one more than I did but I agree it is not a 5 star book.

Sounds like a really cool dystopian novel but those are becoming as popular as vampires once were after the Twilight craze. I think I'm going to look for some more reviews on this one before I decide to read it. Johnny might actually like this one though since he likes the type of setting you described.

I haven't actually come across either of these before, but the premise sounds good. Man, I wish *we'd* had some kind of underground student society that policed my high school. Would've saved me a lot of emotional scars, I'll tell you.

Good review, but can't say I'm hooked. I'm a bit burnt out on the "zomg, I'm an angel, surprise!" trope and ditto for the (9 times out of 10 unnecessary) love triangle. Just once, I'd love to see the female protag go, "I chose to focus on me so boys, get ta walkin'!"
