Gimme Some Ideas!

So here I go buying some books. So far, the only one in my cart is a pre-order for Tempted-House of Night. I need some more ideas!!! What else should I get? I'm looking for some young adult books, romancy ones would be good since I'm in that kind of mood.

Thoughts?

  1. Hey Cindy!

If you like Christian Fiction romance, I would suggest:

No Place for a Lady, Bk 1 - Maggie Brendan
A Passion Most Pure, Bk 1 - Julie Lessman
A Passion Redeemed, Bk 2 - Julie Lessman
A Passion Denied, Bk 3 - Julie Lessman

FYI, the books I mooched from you arrived today ~ thank you!! :)

  5. If you want something that is romancy and has the good vs. evil with witches, then read the Wicked series by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie. The first one (really two in one) is Wicked: Witch and Curse.
The second one is Wicked: Legacy and Spellbound and the 3rd one (really the fifth book) is called Ressurrection.

  6. Romance, you say? You have to pre-order Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. It was so good, and I hear it has a new ending incase you're saying, "Well, I've the ARC, so what's the point?"
    Hope that helps! :}

  7. If you haven't already read these, I'd recommend them:

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (and the rest of the Mortal Instruments series)

    Gone by Michael Grant

    The Host by Stephenie Meyer

    The Luxe by Anna Godbersen

    Hope this helped!

  9. oh wait! Natalie mentioned CoB which reminded me to tell you about CoG xD

    * scratches head* I honestly don't know what to recommend you since you've read practically everything I've read. Have you tried FAERY REBEL? It not then I really REALLY recommend that. It surprised me how much I loved it.

  11. You may have already read these, as they are kind of old, but here goes:

Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause (When I was 14, it was my twilight! Except the movie totally sucks)

The Last Vampire series by Christopher Pike (They recently re-released them in omnibus format like vampire diaries)

I was a teenage fairy or the weezie bat books by Francesca lia block (Her books are AWESOME. Like non-obscure poetry)

Hope that helps. I'm counting the days till tempted comes out...hopefully it will be like hunted, where wal-mart accidentally put it on the shelf 4 days before the release.

  12. ooh...another idea. My friend introduced me to the Katie Chandler series by Shanna Swedson, first book is Enchanted, Inc. It's not YA but it is romance, and very cute. Plus I think the author is greatly under appreciated.
