You know I am a little ticked off at Walmart this year..they let people come in at midnight and pick the movie racks clear though they couldn't pay for them until 5am. So all the good movies like Star Trek and GI Joe that I was excited about getting for 9bucks when I got there at 4:30am were already gone.

I didn't like how they had things arranged this year so I am not sure if it is worth doing this next year if they are going to do things like that. It should be were everyone gets a chance at the same time...the ad said 5-11 but I guess somewher is some tiny fine print it said all day friday which meant at midnight...so I am very mad..could have slept in but I did get a very cool Joker Hoodie for 7 bucks and a few 5 and 2 dollar movies.

I didn't have major plans for shopping Black Friday this year because my husband had to work so no one to watch the kids. Absolutely will not take them shopping with me on a normal day, let alone today of all days! So I got up early and went to Walgreens before my husband went to work. I got 3 yummy smelling (large) jar candles (all three) for $8.99 and a box of 64 Crayola crayons for 99 cents. And that, my friends, is the extent of my Black Friday shopping...LOL!

I avoid black friday sales at all costs. After getting a skull fracture over people fighting for an item that I wasn't even going for a few years ago, I feel that the sales are NEVER good enough to justify the insanity. Those exact same items go on sale at various times at prices just as good at various places. Hell, I bought a $170 doll house on Amazon.com for $99 with free shipping on Monday. Walmart is selling the exact same dollhouse for $130.

HAHA! I shop on amazon for dvds mostly. I scored the latest season of One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl for 12.99, can't beat that!!!

Black Friday is my plague. If I go out at all, it'll be tonight about an hour before the stores close. Way less people, mainly because they're already asleep since they've been up since 3. I did shop a little online for Christmas but nothing equating to major sales or anything.

I wish I was out shopping, I'm stuck at work helping stupid customers :(

Thankfully, the mall by my house doesn't get packed like that. So I got $70 shoes for $30, a $70 jacket for $35, a band tee, and $35 jeans for $10. I'm very proud of my purchases, ha =)

Ugh...I'm in NY so you can just imagine how bad it was. The good part was going to Bath and Body Works and getting their VIP bag filled with $170 worth of goodies for $15. So that alone knocks off at least 3 Xmas gifts!

ok, I admit it, I already had my christmas shopping done when I set out shopping this morning. Yeah yeah, I know, I finished reaally erly this year. But, I got a few great deals for myself! I'm a makeup junkie so when I saw UNBEATABLE deals, you can bet I got them! I hit sephora and got (for $15) a 6 piece fullsized set of body butters and body shower gel. It was priced to be like $84, and I almost picked it up for my cousin, but instead decided to splurg on myself a little bit. :) They are wonderfullll! :D

This year my younger kids (15,14, and 12)were a bit older and they wanted to experience the whole Black Friday thing. So, my sister, sister in law, and one of my two older daughters got up at 4 (ok, maybe we did not really go to bed...I caught an hours sleep as I had to work at 9ish) and we split up. My sister took the boys to Wal-Mart as they had the most items to get, my sister in law took the youngest daughter and headed to Best Buy and my older daughter and I hit Target. We all had our lists and we did amazing well this year and pretty much got all that we wanted our biggest purchases are usually toys, but this year I got the older two girls cameras that were on sale at Target.

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving.
