Question

Just a quick question. I've had a few people ask about why more of the contests aren't international. I left it up to the person donating the book and some of the bloggers/authors are already donating a few books each so shipping can get expensive quick.

BUT

I'm wondering how many of you are international who want to enter. I am thinking about putting together a few contests just for you international bloggers.

I'm just curious to who all is international. Please comment here and let me know!

If you a blogger donating a prize and want to change it to international, please contact me!

I come in as commenter # 15.

I am from South Africa.

Just to say I understand that very often books are direct from the publisher and they often restrict it to USA or something for reasons such as not having publishing rights for other countries.

Also we all know international postage can be expensive and not eveyone can afford it.

It seems more bloggers are using The Book Depository when offering International contest and I agree that this makes sense. The price includes postage and they are an efficient and reliable source.
I have purchased from them myself and have also won a couple of books sent via them and have always been very happy with their service.

I say this so if any bloggers want to respond to your post and start opening up their contest, they might want to consider them.

Thanks for thinking about us Internationals, I am sure we are all very thrilled you have !
