Summary: When Ginny receives thirteen little blue envelopes and instructions to buy a plane ticket to London, she knows something exciting is going to happen. What Ginny doesn't know is that she will have the adventure of her life and it will change her in more ways than one. Life and love are waiting for her across the Atlantic, and the thirteen little blue envelopes are the key to finding them in this funny, romantic, heartbreaking novel.

My Thoughts: We are introduced to Ginny who is just an ordinary girl. One day she receives thirteen blue envelopes from her dead aunt. Her aunt recently died of cancer. Each envelope has a task inside. Also enclosed is an ATM card. She must travel to Europe and complete the tasks. The only catch, she has to do it alone and she can only read the next envelope after the previous task is completed. She can also take what fits in a backpack. Interesting? Yes!

Ginny travels to Europe and starts completing each task! I enjoyed reading about the tasks and seeing what would come from them. Ginny was shy though and that bugged me a little. She would let others tell her what to do, and she was dense sometimes. She didn't know much about the currency system and that bugged me. I know she wasn't supposed to study anything, travel maps, etc but she still should have learned about currency. The people did not short her I don't think but they easily could have since she didn't know how much money she was "really" handing over as the trip went on.

I also didn't feel much emotion towards the guy she met, Keith. Even though he did seem smokin hot; I mean come on he wore a kilt! Sexy! HAHA!

I loved how she met so many new people and loved experiencing their personalities.

The best part about Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes is the traveling. One minute she's in one country, the next she's in another. That made the story very interesting!

The ending was a bit predictable but it had to happen somehow! I recommend this book to anyone who likes to travel or wants to travel with just a backpack!

Overall: I really enjoyed 13 Little Blue Envelopes and can't wait to read the next book: The Last Little Blue Envelope. I'm excited to see what happens to Ginny next.

Cover:  Its cute! It also got a new cover recently and I do enjoy that one a bit more but since I read the old book I'm using the old cover for this review.
