Summary:  Day 1: Julia Donnelly eggs my house my first night back in Star Lake, and that’s how I know everyone still remembers everything—how I destroyed my relationship with Patrick the night everything happened with his brother, Gabe. How I wrecked their whole family. Now I’m serving out my summer like a jail sentence: Just ninety-nine days till I can leave for college, and be done.

Day 4: A nasty note on my windshield makes it clear Julia isn’t finished. I’m expecting a fight when someone taps me on the shoulder, but it’s just Gabe, home from college and actually happy to see me. “For what it’s worth, Molly Barlow,” he says, “I’m really glad you’re back.”

Day 12: Gabe got me to come to this party, and I’m actually having fun. I think he’s about to kiss me—and that’s when I see Patrick. My Patrick, who’s supposed to be clear across the country. My Patrick, who’s never going to forgive me.

My Thoughts: Seriously, when I started this one, I knew I’d probably enjoy it. Love triangle much? Usually those stories keep me interested and I’m always anxious to see who the girl ends up with in the end.

In 99 Days, we are introduced to Molly who has spent a year at boarding school. She had a longtime boyfriend named Patrick whom she cheated on one night with his brother Gabe. Technically, Patrick and Molly were broken up. But the people in Molly’s world don’t see it that way. Also, her mom wrote a bestseller about it! Crazy, I know!

Molly ends up back home for the summer and long and behold runs into Patrick, Gabe, and their sister Julia. She also meets Patrick’s new girlfriend Tess. And of course sees her old friend Imogen again.  Things are hectic for her to say the least. Everyone still holds a grudge and nobody has really forgiven her yet.

Well, there is Gabe. Sweet Gabe, who never really was mad at Molly. Molly spends the summer torn between both boys while Patrick is torn between his feelings for her and hating her.

This was an intense read. I never knew what was going to happen. Half of me wanted her with Patrick, the other half with Gabe! I was very torn. I liked each boy for their own reasons.

I really did like this one but I did have some problems with it. I hate the idea of cheating but when reading about a love triangle, I’m always interested because I have to know who she ends up with. I want her to be happy. I want the boys to be happy. And with love triangles, usually there is someone who isn’t happy.

I liked the plot of this one, I liked the characters, and I liked where the story went.

Overall:   I liked this one a lot but I’m not sure of the ending. I liked it, it was fitting, but I was also a little bit disappointed. I just sat there feeling unsure.   I highly recommend this one if you need some drama in your life.
Cover: Love it! Its cute!
