Summary: Destiny awaits Bianca and Lucas . . .
Bianca and Lucas have always believed they could endure anything to be together. When a twist of fate not only transforms Bianca into a wraith but also turns Lucas into a vampire—the very creature he spent his life hunting—they are left reeling.
Haunted by his powerful need to kill, Lucas can turn to only one place for help . . . Evernight Academy. Bianca is determined to remain with him. But with the vampire leader of Evernight waging a war against wraiths, her former home has become the most dangerous place she could be, despite the new powers her ghostly transformation has given her.
A battle between wraiths and vampires looms, and Bianca and Lucas face a terrifying new reality. They've overcome every obstacle life has thrown at them, but is their love strong enough to survive the challenges afterlife?

My Thoughts: Even though a lot happens in Afterlife, I didn't feel like it was as great as Hourglass. We are back with Bianca and her gang, and everything is different. Bianca and Lucas are back at Evernight (kind of).

They are embracing their new destiny's and trying to make the most out of it. This is the book, with the most spoilers so I'm going to try to keep it spoiler free as much as possible.

Bianca and Lucas have a lot of new things they must deal with, and they have to be careful in the process.
Balthazar is also around, still hanging around. So is Vic, and most of the other characters.

Mrs. Bethany is out to get all wraiths as well so she has traps set up all around the school. Not such a good thing for Maxie (Vic's ghost friend) or any other ghosts lingering around.

So many revelations are made in this book. We find out more about Mrs. Bethany. We find out more about Bianca's parents. We find out more about Balthazar and who he was in his human life.

There were some funny moments I laughed out loud. Expecially a few Balthazar moments. I'm glad Gray put some funniness in this book.

I also felt like a few parts were dragging. A few times I had to take a break while reading, because I found myself just wanting to know what happened next and want to skip a few pages. I didn't though. I also didn't want to miss something big.

Do Bianca and Lucas get their happily ever after? How does living at Evernight feel again? How are Bianca's freinds? Find the book now to see how it all ends!!!

Overall: I really enjoyed it a lot. I didn't quite love it like I did a few of the other books but I'm glad I finished the series and will read any other books the author writes, including the book Balthazar! A very good vampire series!

Cover: Love it! Like it as much as I liked the 3rd book!

What I'd Give It:

I think I feel the same way as you. I do like the Evernight series but it never quite hit the love point for me. I'm almost done with Balthazar and it is good as well, not loving it though.
