Summary: Everything is in ruins.

A devastating plague has decimated the population. And those who are left live in fear of catching it as the city crumbles to pieces around them.

So what does Araby Worth have to live for?

Nights in the Debauchery Club, beautiful dresses, glittery make-up . . . and tantalizing ways to forget it all.

But in the depths of the club—in the depths of her own despair—Araby will find more than oblivion. She will find Will, the terribly handsome proprietor of the club. And Elliott, the wickedly smart aristocrat. Neither boy is what he seems. Both have secrets. Everyone does.

And Araby may find something not just to live for, but to fight for—no matter what it costs her.

My Thoughts: Wow, wow, wow! The day I got this novel, I had to start it. No waiting on it at all!

We are introduced to Araby who lives with her mother and father. She had a brother who died. And Araby is such a weird but neat name.

The town is infected and the only way to avoid infection is to wear a face mask. Araby isn't just any old girl, she is the daughter of the inventor of the masks. Everyone wants a mask, few can afford a mask.

A widespread and dangerous Contagion-Plague has taken over her city and if you don't want to die, you have to wear a mask out side. It's not safe to go anywhere without your mask.

If you get sick, people have the right to shoot you on sight. It's a dangerous world out there. Araby comes from a somewhat wealthy family and she's had multiple masks in her lifetime. The negative, you can't give them away. Once they adapt to you, they are useless to anyone else.

Araby has a best friend named April who she runs around with. They make an odd team but it works.

April has gone missing and her brother Elliot shows up to team up with Araby to find April and make the city a better place. Of course, there is another guy Araby has her eye on. His name is Will and he takes care of his two younger siblings.

Set in a Steampunk environment,  Araby wants to change the world. She wants people to get healthy, she doesn't want to watch people die. Set out to change the way things are, her and Elliot try to step up to the plate and do the right thing.

I'm not going to go on and on about this plot. I loved it. You need to read the book yourself and experience it. I haven't read anything like this before. Yes, it’s Steampunk I guess but its more than that. It is a captivating love story, it's a unique look at  a dangerous disease, and it is a tale of being caught in the middle of something that is bigger than you, way bigger than just one person.

I don't know which guy I liked more. Each had his own fantastic personality and it was hard for me to decide who I wanted to see her with.

All, I can really say is this is a book I truly loved even though I had reservations going into it. I wasn't sure if it was my kind of story.

Overall: Oh my godness, I really loved this book. I read it within the course of a few hours. I was pulled into the story from page one and I couldn't stop until I was done with it. And the last page, oh man. I want a sequel right now. I want to know what happens with our heroic characters. I want to know what becomes of Araby and her two guys.

A great debut full of awesomeness, bravery, romance, and a hot set of guys!

Cover: Love it! It fits really nicely! The color scheme is amazing!
