My Thoughts: It's been quite a while since I read Paranormalcy but I was excited to dive back into Evie’s world.  Evie has been living in the normal world. She’s being ordinary, going to school, thinking about college, keeping a job.

But things don’t stay ordinary for Evie. Once again she starts working for the International Paranormal Containment Agency. Its time for her to bag and tag paranormals again. A lot of this book focuses on vampires and why different paranormals are coming to town, and what they seem to want with her.

I didn’t feel too connected to the plot on this one. It just wasn't holding my interest. But I still loved Evie and Lend. I also loved the few scenes with Reth. And I especially loved the new guy Jack. He really added some spice and excitement to this one.

These books are so much fun and Evie is so funny and its just nice to fly through this. They are so easy to read and I find myself laughing more than anything else.

I can’t wait to see how things play out in the next book and see where things go for Evie.

Overall: I just love Evie’s personality and wit! She’s the girl I’d love to be friends with. I also liked the characters. I can’t believe how fun Jack turned out to be BUT the ending with him. Oh my. Did not see that coming. What is his deal?

I can’t wait to finish this series!

My Thoughts: I started this one for the first time over a year ago. I wasn't sure what to make of it. I got about 50 pages in and stopped. It just didn’t hold my interest. I finally picked it back up and started over and gave it another chance. I’m so glad I did!!

We are introduced to both Audra and Vane. Vane has just been a normal teenager and Audra has been watching him. She’s his guardian. She’s a sylph and Vane has a greater good. He is going to defeat a bad guy and make things right. What a joke, he figures. He’s not a fighter, the whole idea makes him sick.

As Audra prepares Vane for the fight, they find themselves growing closer and wanting to be together.

I really did enjoy this one a lot. I liked both of their personalities. I liked all the little details that were put into this one and their pasts and futures. I liked getting to know the other people in his life, even if it was brief. I enjoyed Audra and her mission.

Let The Sky Fall was an interesting premise and I did enjoy it. I’m so glad I picked it back up and choose to start this series. Now I’m excited for the next one!

Overall:  It was a thick book but I enjoyed it. At times, it did get a bit slow but then it would speed right back up. I loved the whole idea of sylphs and I liked all the talk about wind. It was an interesting concept on something that happens every day. I’m excited to see what happens next for Vane and Audra!

My Thoughts: I thought I was going to love this one. It sounded like something I would deeply enjoy. I did enjoy it to an extent but not as much as I had hoped.

We are introduced to Annie who is a high schooler and scuba diver. She gets assigned a project on the Golden Jaguar and does pretty good on it. She’s interested in it and wants to know more about it. She also has a crush on a boy named Josh. He’s cute and his mom is a movie star so he’s pretty well known.

Annie isn’t poor but she also isn’t rich so she doesn’t think she’s up to Josh’s level. He’ll never really be into her.

Annie and Josh are a part of a trip that is going to Mexico to help clean up. While there, she gets more than she bargains for and almost ends up dead.

She makes a huge discovery and tries to keep it to herself for a while. That is until she ends up sharing it with none other than Josh.

Josh and Annie sure to do know how to get crazy! They know where to find trouble and seem to find it a lot.

I didn’t like this one as much as I thought I would. It sounded really cool because it was part mystery and part love story. But I just had a hard time connecting with the characters and the plot. Maybe it was just my reading mood but I found myself wanting to read other things as well. It’s kind of weird, because I was dying to read this one.

It is a fun book but it just wasn’t for me I guess at the moment. Honestly, I just think I wasn’t in the mood for a mystery or I didn’t care much about the Golden Jaguar or finding it.

Overall: It was just ok. I think a lot of others will enjoy this one though so give it a shot anyway. I did finish it and it was ok. Just had a hard time connecting.

My Thoughts:  When I started this one, I wasn't sure what to think. I wasn't sure I was going to like it or not.

We are introduced to Theo who has a few best friends. She hangs out with them when she’s not doing ballet. But, her closest dearest friend Donovan went missing four years ago. She still thinks about him constantly. She wants to know what really happened.

Well, Donovan reappears. They found him. Theo has to testify in court. Oh my gosh. This one was quite the roller coaster. Theo has her problems and now he is back and there are so many questions she is pondering. She also really loves ballet but there is a tempting boy around the studio and school and she knows because of her past problems, she should probably stay away from the new boy in her life, and besides he has a girlfriend.

I didn’t like seeing the romance between her and this said boy. I just didn’t like it because he had a girlfriend and it just bugged me a little bit.

I never really felt that connected to Theo. I didn’t always agree with her choices but I did like her friends she hung out with. I also liked learning more about Donovan’s disappearance and I’m glad Theo finally stood up in the end.

Overall: I did enjoy this one but I wasn't too connected with Theo. I also was left with more questions at the end. Things I wanted to ask Donovan. I felt like I had more questions at the end.

This was an emotional read. It seems like every character was real and had their own demons to face or battles to win. I did like this one quite a bit.

My Thoughts: I loved Fitzpatrick's first book so I knew I had to jump right on this one!

We are introduced to Gwen Castle whose family isn’t rich. Her mother is a maid and her dad a fishermen of sorts. She also has a brother who has some problems and a cousin she is close too. He is dating her best friend.

Gwen was such a fun character. She had her own set of problems and inner dilemmas but I liked her a lot.  We then meet Cassidy Somers. Oh sweet Cass. Cass isn’t really much like Gwen. His family has money and are doing ok. But, Cass’s dad gets him a job working as a yard boy for the summer to teach him responsibility.

Cass and Gwen have a little bit of a history and Gwen herself as a reputation. I didn’t really know what to think of her reputation at first. It isn’t really that bad but the things people say are pretty mean and I didn’t like it. Probably because she was just such a likable character.

They had so much chemistry and the way they ended up around each other. I just loved it! She is taking care of an older lady for the summer and Cass is just always there doing things that need done. She also ends up tutoring him and he teaches her brother to swim.

I don’t even know what to say. I just loved this one to pieces and I don’t want to ruin it for anyone. The whole time I was reading, I felt like I was right there on the beach with them, or cooking lobsters, or swimming. I just loved it and enjoyed it. And I also loved all the tiny details involving family drama and friend drama. It was just all so nicely put together I just couldn’t get enough.

And Cass, oh sweet Cass. I love you. Can I have you? Will you be mine? I forget he’s not real but man oh man how I wish he were!!!

GREAT! GREAT! GREAT!! LOVED IT!

Overall:  If you like contemps or you liked Fitzpatricks first novel, be sure to pick this one up right now!

I recommend this one all the way!!! Loved it!
